Orchard Bank offered me a unsecured credit card when I though I only qualified for a secured one, why?
Also, after I filled out all my info, I got a message that said I would hear from them within the next 10-14 days. Im thinking that I probably got rejected, wondering why they would direct to an unsecured one, and then reject me? my credit score low end is 566, high is 578.
I went online and filled out the application, planning on getting a secured one. Iv paid off my collectors about 1 month ago, HSBC owns Orchard, and I had a $2000 that i defaulted on. HSBC may not have info that I paid that debt back yet, even though it was in collections. Do you think they are holding it against me?
